Cumin Seed

Cumin, derived from the dried seeds of the herb Cuminum Cyminum, belongs to the parsley family. India stands as the primary producer and consumer of cumin seeds, accounting for 80% of global production and consuming 90% of that amount, effectively consuming 73% of the world's cumin seed. Syria (7%), Iran (4%), and Turkey (3%) are other significant producers, with the rest (6%) sourced from various other countries. Overall, approximately 400,000 metric tons of cumin seed are produced annually worldwide.

We specialize in exporting high-quality cumin seeds sourced from India, known for their reliability and consistency. Our product range includes European Quality Cumin Seed CRE-101 with 99.5% purity, Gulf Quality Cumin Seed CRE-104 with 99% purity, and Singapore Quality Cumin Seed CRE-106 with 99% purity, which are shipped worldwide. Gujarat and Rajasthan emerge as the primary cumin seed producers in India, contributing to 90% of the country's total production. With India's cumin seed production significantly surpassing that of Turkey, Syria, or Iran, our Indian stock remains consistently available year-round. In contrast, cumin seed stocks from other origins such as Iran and Syria tend to deplete quickly.
